The 2012 MAATA Annual Meeting and Symposium will be held March 15-17, 2011, at the Capitol Plaza Hotel in Topeka, KS. Pre-conference workshops for students and Certified Members will be on Thursday, March 15th. More information is forthcoming. The general sessions will be held on Friday and Saturday, March 16-17, respectively.

The MAATA Annual Meeting Planning Committee is looking for professionals in District V who would like to speak during the general sessions. Please read the attached “General Session Call for Proposals” and consider submitting a proposal for one of the sessions.

For the past several years, the committee has given an opportunity for district members to present a “Free Communications”. Proposals are being accepted for these as well and include original research and tips from the field. The format is 15 minutes of presentation followed by five minutes of questions. The MAATA Free Communications Call for Proposals is attached as well.
