Dr. Ken Wertzberger was inducted into the KU Athletic Training Hall of Fame May 3rd

Ken is a graduate of Lawrence High School and played football at KU including the 1969 Orange Bowl team before attending medical school at KU Med. He completed a 4 year residency at the Mayo Clinic. He served as the Orthopedic Physician for KU Athletics for over 25 years operating on nearly 500 athletes and acted as a resource to staff and athletic training students.
